C A L E N D U L A - oil for the skin & lymph

from €26.00

infused in organic olive oil

Calendula [calendula officinalis] has a very long tradition of being used for skin healing. It enhances circulation and stimulates the regenerative process of the skin. Calendula is used to soften and smooth the skin. It helps reduce rough and flaky skin, and provides a layer of protection that helps prevent moisture loss.

This oil can be soothing to all skin types from oily to dry, to sensitive.

Calendula infused oil improves the elasticity of the skin, and can be used for healing scars and first degree burns. It’s known to relieve pain, red and inflamed skin, insect bites, sore skin, eczema and itchy skin.

Calendula has a traditional use as a lymphatic herb to stimulate the movement of lymph. So it is also a wonderful remedy for stagnation in the lymphatic system.

For children it can be used for cradle cap, diaper rash and general baby/children skin care. For mamas the oil can also be used for cracked, or sore nipples from breast feeding (apply it after feeding then so there is time for it to be absorbed, consult your health care practitioner).
