During an Ayurvedic consultation we will have a close look at your health and needs. Together we decide if we’ll focus on nutrition & lifestyle advices, and/or treatments in the form of massage.
It is also possible to book an Ayurvedic massage separately.
1 consultation – 2 step approach:
Your first consultation will take place in two parts; first we’ll meet for an intake in which we will have an in-depth look at your main health concerns and habits. Here I’ll try to get a good understanding of the dynamics at play and we’ll set a therapeutic goal.
Then after approximately one week we will get together again and I’ll explain my recommendations, these will include nutrition, lifestyle, exercise, recipes, daily routine and if appropiate herbal medicine. You’ll get a print-out of these. And we’ll also have plenty of time for your questions.
· intake – 90 minutes – in person / online, Dutch / English
· recommendations – 30 minutes – in person / online
costs for both together (120 minutes): 160 euro
About four to eight weeks later it is important to see how your complaints are. We look at how the body has responded to the recommendations and/treatments, make targeted adjustments and decide on the next steps.
· follow-up appointment – 60 minutes: 90 euro
· short follow-up appointment – 30 minutes: 50 euro

treatments | massage
Massage is an important line of treatment in Ayurveda. The skin, our biggest sense organ, absorbs the medicinal qualities of the plants used during the massage, and helps nourish or cleanse our body. There are many nuances to an Ayurvedic massage based on your constitution, your health complaints and the seasons. Together we may choose for a whole body massage (head to toe), or we can focus on a specific area of your body (for example the back).
Four kinds of massage treatments:
· oil massage; for people who would benefit from a more nourishing treatment, or typically in Autumn/Winter. For the oil massage I will use my own handcrafted infused herbal oils (see shop) or traditional Ayurvedic medicinal oils.
To further promote the absorption of the oil and for deeper relaxation, a massage can be supplemented with a steam treatment. After the massage, a special steam tent is placed over the massage table while the head remains outside.
· dry powder massage; for people who would benefit from a lightening treatment, or typically in Spring/early Summer. For the dry powder massage I will use Ayurvedic Udvartana powder.
· pregnancy massage; for during pregnancy from week 13 till labour. Massage plays an integral part of Ayurvedic prenatal care. The second trimester is the best moment to start receiving regular massages. The main benefits are: improvement of mood and sleep, lowering heart rate and blood pressure, supporting lymphatic and venous circulation, reducing aches and discomforts, tuning in with your body and baby. For pregnancy massage I will use an Ayurvedic oil which is specifically suited for this special phase.
· postpartum marma treatment
massage: 90 minutes | costs: 125 euro
4-ride card massage: 4x 90 minutes of treatment within 6 months | 460 euro
massage + steam treatment : 105 minutes | costs: 145 euro
4-ride card massage + steam: 4x 105 minutes of treatment within 6 months | 540 euro
These treatments are often part of a treatment plan and for specific complaints such as pain, insomnia, allergies, nervousness, tinnitus, ADHD, etc.:

Sometimes these treatments are combined with a massage. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

Kati Basti is a traditional Ayurvedic treatment on the lower, mid, or upper back in which warm medicated oil is repeatedly poured and retained within a ring made of dough. The warm oil boosts circulation in the area and penetrates deep into the tissues, lubricating the joints, nourishing the muscles and nerves, and promoting relaxation.
This technique helps regulate Vata dosha, specifically stabilizing Apana Vayu—a subcategory governing the pelvic region.
for the following symptoms: degeneration of the spine, chronic pain, stiffness, inflammation, muscle spasms, and sciatica.
therapeutic benefits: relieves muscle stiffness and spasms, improves flexibility and mobility, reduces local inflammation, promotes relaxation and reduces stress, improves circulation.
> this treatment is given in a series of 3–5 treatments
