L Y M P H · F L O W · R I T U A L set · Garshana Gloves + Breast & Belly Oil
This set brings together two simple yet powerful practices to support the body’s natural flow: Garshana (Ayurvedic dry massage) and self-massage with herbal oil. Perfect for spring season.
A gentle ritual to stimulate the lymphatic system, soften stagnation, and reconnect with the body.
What’s included:
· Handmade Garshana gloves from ahimsa silk (peace silk) dyed with medicinal herbs
· Breast & Belly Oil with violet, st. john’s wort, calendula, and rosemary infused in organic olive oil
The ritual:
Begin with Garshana: a dry massage using the silk gloves to stimulate circulation, support lymphatic movement, and gently awaken the skin. Use light, rhythmic strokes towards the heart—for example, from the feet to the thighs, and from the hands to the shoulders.
After showering, apply the oil with soft, attentive touch. This is an invitation to slow down and connect—especially to the breasts and belly, areas that are often held with tension or distance.
Practiced regularly, this ritual supports flow, awareness, and a sense of care within the body.
About the gloves:
The Garshana gloves are handmade from ahimsa silk (peace silk), created from the cocoon after the moth has naturally emerged.
The fabric is dyed with medicinal plants—madder (manjistha) and mugwort—bringing subtle herbal qualities into the material. Madder has long been valued in Ayurveda for its affinity with the skin and blood, while mugwort is traditionally associated with movement and warmth.
Used on dry skin, Garshana gently stimulates circulation, supports the lymphatic system, and helps to awaken and tone the skin.
About the oil:
This blend was created to support lymphatic movement and bring softness to sensitive tissues. It can be used as a weekly breast massage ritual, or applied to the belly to ease menstrual discomfort.
· Violet leaf is traditionally known to gently soften hardness in glandular and lymphatic tissues, helping to reduce swelling and tenderness.
· St. John’s wort calms the nervous system and may help reduce pain.
· Calendula supports the skin and encourages lymphatic movement.
· Rosemary stimulates circulation, soothes the nervous system, and gently uplifts.
“With violet as a herbal ally, feelings flow rather than harden or become held in the tissues.” — Judith Berger
This oil is created with the intention of fostering a more intimate and caring relationship with the body.
Our connection to the breasts and belly is often shaped early in life—through medicalization or sexualization. Through the simple act of oiling the body, we can begin to relate differently: with attention, softness, and familiarity.
Use & frequency
· Garshana: 1–3 times per week, on dry skin before showering; especially in spring
· Oil: apply after showering, or as a weekly self-massage ritual
Sizing:
The size of these gloves fit S–M hands; measure your fist like in the 3rd picture, the gloves fit if your fist measuresl 26 cm or less. Let me know if you’d like larger ones (I can make those on request)
