review
“I really love your oil - still using it every day, in small amounts and with care - I love the smell, the little cards, the linen it was wrapped in. Very grateful for such precious handcrafted oil.” Agnieszka, Berlin
with violet, st. john’s wort, calendula, and rosemary infused in organic olive oil
When you massage your breast tissue as a weekly ritual, you will stimulate the lymph flow and help keeping your breasts healthy. This oil can also be a helpful remedy for menstrual pain when applied to the belly.
Violet leaf is known for its ability to slowly dissolve hardness in the glandular and lymphatic channels. It can help reduce swelling and tenderness in the breasts. “With violet as a herbal ally, feelings flow rather than hardening in or becoming trapped in the tissues of the lungs, breasts and belly.” [Judith Berger].
Aromatic rosemary soothes the nervous system and improves circulation, it uplifts the mind and assists the respiratory, digestive and reproductive system.
Calendula supports the skin and movement of the lymph. And st. john’s wort calms the nervous system and reduces pain.
This is perhaps the oil I’m most passionate about, because it aims to help to connect to our bodies, and particular our breasts and belly, in an intimite and loving way . Our connection to our breasts is often from a young age medicalized (causing worry) or sexualized. When we oleate our body, we naturally and intimately get to know it, remember what we need and how to take care. This is something we should teach our children too.
note:
· don’t use this oil when breastfeeding (better use calendula oil)
· avoid wearing bras that restrict the flow of lymph in your breast (especially wired ones)
· if you have had breast tumors, or you feel something unusual, please consult your physician and discuss if massaging the breasts is safe for you
ingredients: organic violet leaf, wild crafted st.john’s wort flowers, organic calendula flower, organic rosemary leaf, organic olive oil, trace amount of alcohol
