health insurance reimbursement
My consultations and treatments are in many cases eligible for partial reimbursement from your supplementary health insurance (in Dutch: aanvullende verzekering). Reimbursement comes from this supplementary insurance, so it is not deducted from your mandatory deductible (eigen risico).
I am a member of the professional association LVNT (Landelijke Vereniging Natuurgeneeskundig Therapeuten) and affiliated with RBCZ, which many insurers use as a requirement for reimbursement. Whether and how much you are reimbursed depends on your insurer and your policy, so please check your policy conditions or ask your insurer.
how it works:
Check whether your insurer covers Ayurvedic care (service code prestatiecode 54-24014) on your insurer’s website or via zorgwijzer.
You pay for each consultation or treatment directly at the studio, using a QR code or payment request in your banking app, or by bank transfer. After payment, I send the invoice by email. The invoice includes everything your insurer needs, so you can use it to request reimbursement.
tip: insurers change their supplementary packages every year, including what they cover and how much. It’s wise to check at the end of each year whether your policy still fits your needs, and to adjust it if necessary.

Not satisfied with something? Please get in touch with me.
All healthcare providers in the Netherlands fall under the Wkkgz (Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act). Through LVNT, I am affiliated with RBCZ (Quality Register for Authorised Practitioners in Complementary Care) and SCAG (Disputes Committee for Complementary Care). If you have a complaint about the care you received from me, I ask that we first discuss it together. If we can’t resolve it, you can contact the complaints contact person at LVNT.
